The universe is collapsing. Stars fade, and time itself begins to fold.
Amid the chaos, two nations — the Helian Federation and the Vortahr Dominion — fight for survival. Both have discovered a single river of energy that still flows upward, leading to the last refuge beyond the breaking worlds.

With their fleets and hopes, they race against each other, struggling to ascend before the river disappears forever.
Each turn of the current brings danger — reefs, shifting tides, and the ruins of what once was.
Only one side will reach the source and escape the end.

Out the Universe is a turn-based tactical board game set in a collapsing cosmos.
Two factions — the Helian Federation and the Vortahr Dominion — battle for survival on the last stable field of space, as the universe itself folds in on them.

Players take turns commanding their characters across a shrinking grid-based map. Each turn consists of movement, combat, and collapse:

  • Movement: Roll a die to travel across the grid. Positioning is key to both offense and defense.

  • Combat: When two opposing units become adjacent, they may engage in battle. Both roll dice, and the higher result deals 1 damage to the other.

  • Collapse: As the universe decays, parts of the map disappear over time, instantly destroying any character caught within.

Different tile types provide tactical opportunities — from healing zones to gravitational traps — while limited resources force players to plan carefully.

The game continues until one faction’s entire team is destroyed.
The side that survives the collapse claims victory — escaping out the universe.
